Job Description

1. The candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in Article 5 & 6 of the
Constitution of India.
2. The candidate must not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age
as on 01.01.2023. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST(P)/
ST(H) candidate and 3 years for OBC/MOBC Candidates as per Govt. Office
Memorandum ABP.6/2016/51 dated. 02.09.20.
3. Minimum qualification is class VIII passed. Preference will be given to candidate
having professional skills, related to requirement of this establishment.
4. Filed-up “Application Form” along with Age certificate, certificates and mark
sheets regarding educational qualifications, valid Professional Driving
Licence, Caste Certificate from competent authority, Employment Exchange
registration certificate along with 2 (two) recent passport sized photographs
may be sent through E-mail to recruitment.sivasagar@gmail.com in PDF
format, or, by POST to the O/o the District & Sessions Judge, Sivasagar, PIN785640, Assam, or, may be dropped in the Drop Box for Application to be kept
at the O/o the District & Sessions Judge, Sivasagar, and all documents furnished
with the application must be self-attested by the candidates. Application shall
be filled up in BLOCK LETTERS.
5. The applicant should address to the District & Sessions Judge, Sivasagar, Assam
and the name of the post should clearly be mentioned at the top of the envelope
as “Application for the post of Driver (Contractual).”
6. Candidates serving in any Government department must apply through proper
channel.
7. Contact nos. and E-mail ID must be provided in the application.
8. If the Candidate is found to have suppressed his educational qualification or
given any wrong information at the time of applying for the post, his candidature
shall be liable to be rejected.
9. The last date of receipt of application is 06.03.2023 till office working hours. No
application received thereafter will be entertained, and this office will not be
responsible for any postal delay.
10. The eligible candidate shall have to appear in Driving Test and Viva-voce/
Interview.
11. The list of eligible candidate and list of rejected candidates will be uploaded in
the official website of Sivasagar District Judiciary
(www.sivasagarjudiciary.gov.in) along with the date of interview.
12. No separate call-letters will be issued from this office.
13. All the applicants are advised to visit the official website frequently.
14. Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.
15. No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates.
16. The applicant should address to the District & Sessions Judge, Sivasagar,
Assam.
17. The Selection Board reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the
advertisement or other terms and conditions of the advertisement without any
